A merchant mariner by trade, I've spent the last decade traversing the oceans on a cargo ship for 6 months of the year, visiting lands and cultures across the globe. 

When off the ship, my time is spent with my family getting in the outdoors all that is allowed. Come hunting season, my dog Nixon and I wingshoot on nearly every opportunity, fulfilling our passion of the outdoors while providing for the table. 

Whether ashore or afloat, I seek to document the lifestyles, often neglected or poorly depicted, which embodies these professions and passions. Abstract Conformity is my approach to sharing these stories from a stand outside of the norm, one that I continuously adapt.
